Совместно с председателем КТОСа «Советский-5» Павловой В.Б. , который территориально расположен по ул. Доватора 10-а, мы решили провести районный тур городского открытого фестиваля «Поющие дворы», приуроченный к 275-летию Челябинска». Праздник назначили на 3 августа 2011 года. Но погода вдруг заупрямилась, и весь день лил дождь. Павлова В.Б. договорилась с директором школы № 15 и нас гостеприимно выручил актовый зал школы. Гости и соседи пришли к 18.00 на концертную программу. Компетентное жюри в лице специалистов отдела культуры спорта и молодежи при администрации Советского района и преподавателей дома творчества оценивали исполнителей по восьми номинациям: хоровая песня, застольная, плясовая и хороводная, частушка, колыбельная, авторская (самодеятельная) песня, песня нашего города, песня нашего двора. В конкурсе приняли участие молодые самодеятельные исполнители, народный хор «Калинушка». Городской этап завершится 1 сентября. В нем примут участие исполнители, ставшие лучшими в своих районах. Районный тур фестиваля удался. На время сосед или соседка предстали в новом свете - артисты! В зале царила теплая атмосфера, все улыбались, радостно хлопали, подпевали.
